Built by someone who gets it
ExpensePro was created out of real frustration with how painful expense tracking can be
I'm an electrician by trade. Every week, I'd collect receipts from job sites—materials, fuel, the occasional lunch run. Then came the part I dreaded: scanning each one with a PDF app, attaching them to emails, and sending them off to the office.
It was a whole ordeal. Miss one receipt? Chase it down. Blurry scan? Do it again. Wrong category? More back-and-forth. For something that should take minutes, it ate up way too much of my time.
I started tinkering with code in my spare time—homelab stuff, nothing serious. I never thought I could build something that other people would actually use. But the more I dealt with that receipt headache, the more I wondered: why isn't there something better?
So I built it. ExpensePro started as a tool to solve my own problem. Snap a photo, let AI pull out the details, done. No scanning apps, no email attachments, no hassle.
If you've ever dreaded expense reports the way I did, this is for you.
